A lot of people are going to struggle with this And unfortunately I don't think we can rely on training to help us either

I did the trial one back in February this year ...

I've kept it updated monthly ever since of course

If you've bought 'EYFS - Meeting the Standards' from me, I am busy doing an update to cover the new style inspections and the SEF

I've got training for this on Wednesday night. I'll share any tips or tricks I pick up. I haven't even peeked at the form yet, though. Guess I better do that now.
Why is "phonics" not spelled the way it sounds?

Okay, wow. That's like an OU assignment in and of itself! I can see that it will be a very helpful tool for showing that you're are a self-reflective practitioner (another buzz word these days) and make you really think about the outcomes in your setting. But I also imagine it will put a lot of people off!!

I haven't time to read the guidance. Anyone know how often we're meant to complete this or is it just when we are expecting our inspection? I think I may do it termly (at the end so I can evaluate my planning and obs for the last term).

Yes i have training for this ( i hope) in September. Perhaps if we add thousands and thousands of extra pages they will not even come out to inspect us but do it all online. Now wouldnt that be fab

Ofsted told Surrey it was going to be 9 pages long. Maths is not Ofsteds strong point unless it comes to counting the numbers of our children.

Perhaps we should try it, Yes i know i said i was caring for 9 children, but when i counted there were 27 i just dont know where they all came from. Is i say sorry will it be OK

    I bet it's got overloaded.

This is why I will be strongly advising my customers ...

When you put your information in the SEF, also back it up into a document on your computer
