What is this download?: Ofsted have written to all childminders via Early Years Update June 2011 reminding them of the choking hazards linked to children eating sausages after the sad death of a child in a nursery. As a result of this, childminders are advised to update their risk assessments, skills and knowledge related to managing the hazards associated with choking and how to deal with incidents if they arise. Ofsted inspectors are paying attention to this area of provision in inspections as well. Sarah707 has shared some information she has written about choking.
