What is this download?:

A pdf of information about the requirements for EYFS Early Learning Goals and their Aspects.

It is taken from the Early Years Foundation Stage information but I have tried to make it more easy to understand. I have found it useful when planning and doing observations and considering a child's next steps.

Sarah707 has kindly created a new document for the revised EYFS, I will leave them along side each other until Sept 12 when the first one will expire. Sarah has explained about her sheets:

After a long conversation with an Ofsted inspector about how to set  out the Development Matters guidance document 'ages and stages' for  the revised EYFS I have decided to change the focus of my record  keeping from September.

When you print one age and stage list for a child you are only  looking at a few of the Development Matters statements - what you  are not doing is noting the progress the child might be making  outside that age and stage information.

So... from September I will be separating the Development Matters guidance into 2 age ranges – 0 – 3 and 2 1/2 – 5.  I believe this  will help to look at a broad range of age and stage information and  it will fit in well with the 2 – 3 year progress check.
